Reviews Nokia 2680 Slide : Elegant lightweight.
Regarding mobile phones and its new acquisition, I will be happy of my environment called in to advise on the purchase. I myself have currently three mobile phones in active use: All contract-free phones, bought on sale at the best prices.

Two SIM cards are prepaid cards that offer cheap rates for making phone calls … these are numbers that I am not officially available, only friends know the numbers.A sim card is registered and my official phone number: This mobile phone is switched off from time to time, if I am unreachable by phone … there is no voice ran.
“Nokia 2680 slide”
This mobile phone is a “slider phone”, open to all networks, which I use as a prepaid mobile phone: It’s a handy little phone, oval in shape, sits comfortably in the hand and looks very elegant. This slider phone is a lightweight and ideal for mobile users who want a stylish phone which is easy to use and no “gimmicks” has.
A cell phone only for calling, with mp3 ringtones, Radio, Bluetooth and Radio “in the luggage.” Furthermore, it has an Internet function, which I personally use for cost reasons … MMS shipping … if the provider an Internet access offering (MMS = News for Shipped of images over the Internet on mobile phone – if any – can be shipped … that is very expensive for the sender and the receiver).
Even a digital camera is integrated … for snapshots in daylight and clear weather it is quite good, in all other situations, this built-in camera, not appropriate. This mobile phone is for people who are looking for an “elegant lightweight” to make phone calls!
Understanding the use:
The sliding function I have set so that I can when opening the phones to accept my calls and closing sets on my cell phone automatically. To answer calls from this Nokia also remain in its “closed” function and I can like any other phone calls to accept, in which I by pressing the green phone button to call accept … and opened is in the closed state by pressing the red handset button.
Elegant in every situation, I say now … as its user satisfied that cell phones … for two years and three months … an investment that has paid off.
THE PRICE.
This Nokia is an “open phone”, it is free for all networks, for which I paid for the purchase of 89 € … an investment that has paid off for me.
When buying a cell phone contract with a provider, it is cheaper in price. I have however decided to “open” version, I use this phone as a prepaid cell phone. With proper care, this phone looks even after months and years very well.

PACKAGING & CONTENTS & INSTRUCTION.
The BOX is made of cardboard, small and handy, because the content has only essential (CONTENTS) in yourself:
a.) mobile phone
b.) Charger
c.) Battery
d.) headphones are used (as an antenna for radio reception)
e.) instructions (three pieces, one in German)
The original packaging is kept in the color turquoise, on this elegant phone is shown:
1) The original packaging is important to me as a mobile phone owner, listed on one page because the IMEI and the ITEM number (so to speak, the “house number” of cell phones) … so I save the original packaging for ever!
2) I think that is important for the warranty coverage, if necessary … and in case of theft, always ask the IMEI – number.
The USE is clear and very understandable listed … so clear and understandable as the menu of the mobile phones.
SUPPLY & USE.
This Nokia is a Dual Band phone, which has in the frequencies 900/1800 his reception … that is sufficient for our latitude.
The features are important for the use of Internet on mobile phone, the Internet, however I am not use because it is too expensive and I do not think is necessary … not on the phone … I need it to make phone calls.
Genial in the instructions to me is that it is small and designed all the info to the phone yet still clear, simple and very informative … is also a newcomer to find the benefits of mobile phones to cope with these instructions in the manual.
FUNCTIONS OF THE HANDI
a.) Battery:
Instead of writing separate a message on the display medium when the battery is charged and to take the plug from the socket is always … until the phone from the cable and then pull the plug from the socket … the extended battery life and the entire device.
Similarly, the correct sequence when loading the device is important: only the plug into the outlet, then hang the phone to the cable plug for charging /.
This is the battery life of mobile phones and thank the owner, because this form of the connected and disconnected the battery and gentle alternative for device.
b.) Key lock:
When closing the phones, the display will lock down in the middle of the word … within the first few seconds, it is advisable to press the square button to lock the keys, so that no accidental calls or press other keys is possible. When sliding the keypad is unlocked.
c.) Speaker:
These are integrated into the phone … can I make a phone call by pressing the right button with the dash (just below the screen … it is Ltspr. the display) the call to “loud,” I so that the phone is not necessarily permanent ear must hold to make a call.
d.) speed dial (Quick):
I have this function is not in use, because I’d rather have to dial my number / people immediately and directly from the phone / address book.
The speed dial is a great option for those who are accustomed to working with the speed dial “.
The menu item “Options – Calls – Speed Dial” it is possible to lay down the numbers for speed dialing.
e.) Text input:
When writing text for sending SMS messages or phone book I have the T9 (predictive text) menu weggeschalten same because I am typing this WITHOUT doing accessibility easier. Other users of T9 is very sympathetic, and I do not like it, I write / type better myself.
MMS (messages to the Sent of images or sounds) I personally do not write, is used for this application because the Internet on mobile phones, and creating additional costs, which in my view, are unnecessary … I prefer to use my internet on PC / laptop – the is cheaper.
f.) Communications, the setting:
In general settings I have set on the phone, informed me that the menu of my Nokia via text if my SMS is received by the recipient. Depending on the provider, this setting can be paid for here is the provider before setting this function to contact.
g.) Address Book:
The address book in the phone offers more memory for more numbers.
I have all my phone numbers stored on the sim card because the simcard in another phone in exchange receives all her stored numbers into another phone.
h.) Call Log:
The call log shows me who has called me, whom I’ve called and what calls I missed … including date and time … if the phone is turned on.
h) Profiles:
Here I put my phone on a noise around me, here recognizes my phone, how loud or how quiet it to ring. The setting is done in sub sections, so that the selection by pressing a button is very fast and simple … the set of profiles is also very quick and easy.
i.) Display:
This is quite large and in the mobile phone menu, I can change my background … well … so adjust images on the display, the display always looks like I would like to have.
j.) Bluetooth:
This is a wireless technology, in which I can send cable and free data (pictures, ringtones) and received, with the mobile phone to send to Visible and A must be completed.
For security reasons, I leave my Bluetooth on my phone always on and off made invisible, so no one else can access my phone and its features.
k.) Accessories:
This menu shows what is with paired devices in my phone connection (active or passive).
l.) Gallery:
All images, ring tones and videos are stored, which I did with the phone … or have received from another phone.
m.) Camera:
With the camera I can take pictures and videos that are then stored in the gallery of the phones and I can, for example via Bluetooth to a friend’s mobile to send free of charge.
n.) FM Radio:
On the tab, I can set the transmitter and then listen to radio with this phone. However, the headset is plugged, as these act as an antenna for the radio. The sound when listening to the radio is very good … I can also use the headphones to make phone calls.
o.) Music Player:
This is also integrated … however, the storage space for MP3 and AAC files (for music) is relatively small, so I do not use the music player.
p.) Organizer:
Here are integrated calendar and alarm clock … for me practically since I miss any deadline, and not oversleep in the morning with a guarantee.
q.) Internet:
I do not use this option, instead it has a computer (PC) with Internet access on the phone … it is useless for me, anyway.
r.) Sim services:
Most are on the sim card from the manufacturer Sim additional services saved, which are available at this function on the phone in the submenu.
MY PERSONAL EXPERIENCE WITH MY NOKIA 2680 slide:
I use my phone only for calling, the sound quality during a call is excellent: The reception is crystal clear and the battery lasts when I use a good six days. Recharges the phone in just under two hours.
The display is a color display is great, so I all (names, SMSs read) very well.
The phone is lightweight and portable, it looks elegant and given proper care and appropriate is the cell phone handy, even after two years working order and very nice to see.
MY CONCLUSION.
This phone I express my warmest recommendation: It is suitable for anyone who would like to only use his phone to make phone calls.
Pros : Excellent menu, great sound quality, simple operation.
Cons : I could not find VERSUS NO.
