Nokia, which seeks an identity in the segment of smartphones, moved, with the C7, a stylish touchscreen model, equipped with a classy dress and a beautiful bright AMOLED screen of 3.5 inches. If the colors are bright and rather nice, the definition, it has really nothing special (360 x 640 pixels). In contrast, the grip is very nice. This hair cell C7 has the size you need for a mobile phone. Neither too large nor too small, light and good composition, the device is also well in hand in the inside pocket of the jacket. Moreover, there are again at the bottom of the hull, three dedicated touch-sensitive navigation and call management.

Everything looks really nice, until you discover the interface and the organization of menus. From that side, it’s awful. The Symbian three really great progress if Nokia wants to make inroads in the smartphone segment. At first glance pleasant to use, everything is finally revealed complicated and requires constant coming and going through menus and options to obtain satisfaction. Even writing an email or SMS becomes an unhappy event for the nerves and takes more time here than ever, since we must always go through the central menu to enable or disable the predictive text or choosing alternative words offered. In short, a mess.

Same need for WiFi enabled when a network is available and is not permanently active. We have not managed to post the videos posted on Facebook, browsing online is tedious and we’re back several times to set up a Gmail account. Thank goodness it is possible to organize as we see fit with the home screen, however, can import only four applications (notification messages, etc..).

The gyro sensor, however, is very sensitive, which is pretty good. As for synchronization with the Ovi site, it does nothing interesting except for geolocation and preparation of travel or travel. Fortunately, the C7 has a good camera with 8 MP flash LED, efficient multimedia features, good reception sensitivity and offers excellent sound quality.

In short, for a smartphone, the C7 is not in simplicity. On the form is perfect. But the bottom line is to review, because all it lacks practicality.
