I have made a gift – the Nokia 7360, color amber warm. A figment of elegance and gimmick. Flowers in bronze, mirror elements and macrame cord. What can I say – sometimes my ivory-colored thing is even embarrassing (“YOU GIRL”), but I’m still in love pretty hard in the thing.

Nokia 7360 Reviews Nokia 7360 : My treasure Guide

I have paid six weeks before Supplied with an Ebay trader 239.00 inc VAT charging cable, a carrying strap, user manual, a stereo headset and of course the battery (which is quite the styling of the phones have been).

Functions and technical details are added at the end, particularly charming boring details that the main function of this phone is not fair – to look good is his real job. I read reports only half-Mobile – because so much technology is there.

Conclusion So my thing first :

The best phone I had before (from a collection of various Samsung, Siemens).
The decisive factor is of course always the respective claims to a device: I is not very high – I would like to make calls, send messages / received and integrated as a gimmick have a camera.

Clearly I was raised in this unit the look and was also the reason for the purchase – should I really still very surprised about me ;))

But, I regret nothing, technically, the device is just as stunning and visually. The software is stable, so far no crash. The keys are smooth, arranged and not too small (though not really big). I am happy to see NO antenna more, these little bumps have always disturbed me. I was always a fan of folding mobile phones, since I am a Keyguard Vergesserin, but the keypad is automatically set (in my case 10 seconds). Ideal.

The manual is understandably written, clearly structured and when they lose – having. In direct comparison to my Siemens CF75 (which I just called my own one months in order to banish if) the battery was about three days, I need to recharge your Nokia in about every 5-6 days. I phone an average of 10 times daily, will call and write often about 5 SMS per day. So I would think a battery endurance.

The only drawback: the light color is very nice, but the unit is extremely fast dirty, alone, by use – you do not have to throw in the dirt only to turn into dirty white to ivory. But no matter. The matching bag is ordered.
Highly recommended, the Nokia 7360th

Mrs. D., as you would judge if the phone were a person? I think I would get inflamed and would force a closer know.

And Now for the details, features, what can it all (partial)

DESIGN, warm amber color

4.5 cm wide, 10.5 cm high and 1.5 cm deep. Sits comfortably in your hand, fits in your pocket and, with a weight of 92g is right easy – or difficult.

The keyboard is made of ivory sculpture (sometimes dirty white), with dark gray lettering. The front is framed with applications in shiny bronze-gold colored metal effect. The display (65,536 colors at a resolution of 128 x 160 pixels) is surrounded by a mirror that has the typical bronze-colored plant tendrils were applied.

Laterally dark brown and bronze-colored plastic elements are used, interspersed with olive-brown faux suede, which continues to about 60% of the back. The rest of the back is held in matte ivory and bronze metal strips with vine pattern is repeated here.

The strap is not a vile noose, but a brown macrame cord, which completes the playful flower design. Girls Mobile halt;)

KEY, FEATURES

embedded on the back of the metal framework is behind glass, the lens of the VGA camera. Speakers and PTT button and volume down and Sprachbefehltaste are in a comfortable finger height on the side.

Optical gimmick is: on the right side of a fabric label, just used a T-shirt label “sews”. The thing is a little getting used to, I’m constantly working around the phone, according to the label will soon be dirty. But does not detract from the whole design.

All buttons are easy to operate smoothly and well. Each button is sold separately and the keypad itself is a divided two heights, so that again is a relief as a whole.

The middle selection button is a bronze-colored plastic-Gem. Also very smoothly, even the four-way navigation button to the radio button around – the four buttons is connected can express themselves easily and efficiently.

On / Off is located at the top of the side. With this button, I have been annoyed with each device. Not here, because sunk, but not too deep. We are all happy;)

MENU GUIDE

For me, getting used to, because I have never have used Nokia, but completely self-explanatory.

If the phone is active, the display are the top left of the reception status, right up to see the battery charge. In the bottom bar you can find the left selection key FAVORIT be placed behind any such function. The center’s exits to the Main Menu is right for me to reach the SMS inbox via a shortcut.

The surface is designed to individually as with all other manufacturers – you can let off steam for hours. The beautiful flowers on the vines is, of course, among many other topics (which can be picked apart and changed in every detail) is already stored originally.

Text input is freely selectable – automatically by dictionary (extended) or manually.

NAVIGATION ON THE MENU

Any declaration is unnecessary, since you have to see something like that. A few words on this. As mentioned, the menu is self-explanatory and logical.

You open the menu (whose view of course is changed), chooses a sub-menu, eg Settings. The submenu contains further submenus now, such as Calls. You simply click deeper into the menu, select the desired setting and can either go back level by level, or select END and is back in the main view.

NOTICES

Available are SMS, MMS (multimedia messages containing text, sound, a picture, a calendar note, a business card or a video clip) emails, flash messages, Xpress audio messaging (voicemail OGM send simple – and). Also a chat is possible.

As the functions in particular, I will not explain at this point. There is no deviation on all other phones: Leave message and send. Readers who have had no cell phone, said that it is easier to understand if you tried it in practice. In practice, the message counter, divided into incoming and outgoing messages: to achieve fast and very sobering;)

PHONE

That’s all there. In the phone memory (to save as usual in the phone or on the SIM card) in addition to the usual telephone number is also space for business cards in vCard format, contact details: numbers, text items, and even small photos. The presentation I think succeeded: Behind every name lies a whole list (unless they wont) from various phone numbers and information. I.e. with the usual Gekruschel HOME Franz, Franz MOBIL, Franz OFFICE, has done himself.
It is possible the subscription of names. All I can tell you from personal experience nothing, so I make use of the description from the manual:

Underlying this is the “My presence”. Quote: With the presence service (network service) you can share your presence status with other users with compatible devices and access to the service. Presence status includes your availability, status message and personal logo. Other users who access the service and information are able to see your status. The requested information is shown in Subscribed names in the Contacts menu. You can customize the information to be displayed for others and control who can see your status.

You can create a list of contacts whom you want presence status information available. You can view the information if it is allowed by the contacts and the network.

CALL

On the keyboard, on the numbers stored in the address book or by dialing (call name and connection is made). Stone me, but that is the most natural at all.
The sound is good, can be by key (explained above) simply adjust (quieter, louder). The device also does not hurt at the time after talks ear. ;)

MEDIA

Camera
Photos are created in the JPG format and video clips in 3GP format. The camera takes very good pictures (resolution 640x480pixel) is operated with a handle and serve its purpose as a mobile phone camera (for me it is still just a gimmick) in full. Video clips I have not yet been tested.

Radio
FM radio heard in stereo or mono. Good noise-sound, like a MP3 player. The stylish (a little cheesy, so the right cell phone) headset sets the mood.
The favorite channels can be stored. I’ve saved so far 8, I believe it is up to 20 possible (I have to check).

ORGANIZER
The usual: alarm clock, calendar with reminders, to-do list and notes, calculator, stopwatch and countdown timer.

The PC-synchronization is possible, unused for me but a closed book and so far
The 7360 supports Push-To-Talk feature, then, is like a walkie-talkie used (pronounced amateur?) And you can talk with multiple people (as happened two-way radio service over GSM / GPRS cellular network). The exact background and purpose of this function, I could not fathom, I think he is great as a phone conference.

Ultimately, of course, the use of the Internet on the device’s own browser is possible. For me, the most superfluous history of any cell phone, but now. Especially when not all the details of the site can be read. Seis drum – for fans, the Nokia can also das.
