Design and Processing

I like the phone from the optical her very well. The predecessor of this was entirely made of plastic, but the 5530 has some metal elements on the front, making the entire design is something of high quality and robust. Something unusual is that there is no more keys. There are now touch sensitive panels on the front, with which one can start and end calls and comes to the menu. All in all, I find the workmanship and the design well. What bothers me however is the battery cover. This is made of plastic and you have to really be very careful when you open this cover. You get the feeling that one makes every moment broken, because it feels really sensitive and thin. In addition, the cover is loose, which means that it rattles when you move the phone. But not only rattles the door, but the lock button on the side. This sits rather loosely in the guide and also audible wobble back and forth.
Touchscreen

What makes a touch screen is of course that no keys are missing. Everything is controlled by touching the screen. For better handling in the mobile phone a stylus, a pen, is integrated. This is needed only if you have thicker fingers. Personally, I must use this difficult. I use it only when I use the Quertastatur to write longer messages. This keyboard is designed like a computer keyboard, the letters are quite together, and as it is with the stylus more practical and comfortable.
Otherwise, the touch screen responds very well. What I like is not, however, if the keypad is activated and calls to someone that you are struggling as it can not directly, but always the key lock out needs to make. This I find somewhat solved unhappy. I would like to accept the call, if the keyguard is on, but in this case responding touch screen is not at all.
At the start screen you have various possibilities of individualization. You can use the eight p.m. most contacts deposited there, and three functions to deposit a quick shortcut. This I find very convenient because I, for example, the Bluetooth function quite often use only and not always to the menu has, but it can directly activate the first screen. Bluetooth : This has always been one of my favorite features on the phone. With Bluetooth, I am sending to a data from one phone to another and, second, so I send pictures and music files from phone to computer and from computer to phone. For many files, of course, the transfer makes more sense with the data cable, but I have usually only one of the pictures I want transferred at once. And before I herausgekramt the cable and connected it’s done faster with Bluetooth.
Umdrehfunktion : This means that the image on the screen rotates automatically when I turn the horizontal from a position in the vertical position. It is very good. It always takes one to two seconds, until it is rotated, but that’s okay.
Camera: At this point I will not go into quite as strong. I take pictures with the phone, yes. But I am dealing with the functions not excessive, since for me it is just nice additions. The camera has 3.2 megapixels and 4x digital zoom. The flash is a so-called LED flash. This quality is not too well, so the images are generally always a bit of dark. Otherwise, there are many, many features such as anti-red-eye, or black and white and sepia modes. Qualitatively, I think the camera is not really good, but it’s still times now a picture of a cell phone and there it is again on the phone and not again.
It’s quite nice to move times can take snapshots, but you should not expect too much. There are far better mobile phone cameras.
The images are often grainy, too dark and the zoom would be best not to use.
MP3 Player: This is a feature that I’ve used so far only one or two times. Therefore, I go here only very briefly on the matter. Call quality is very good. Caller sound very realistic. The high volume and a very clear sound make 5530 an agreeable companion for frequent callers. I wonder how the phone reacts in a year, as previously join in the software. But right now I’m good spirits and am just happy with this part.
